Small Businesses & Youth Entrepreneurship
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) make a huge contribution to Ontario’s economy in terms of jobs, investment, trade, innovation and prosperity. Over 2.8 million Ontarians are employed by SMEs, which consistently create more jobs than large firms. Learn about the Ministry of Economic Development and Trades’ network of 57 Small Business Enterprise Centres (SBECs) and programs that help entrepreneurs and youth with starting and growing their businesses.
