Innovative Use of Technology

More and more, Eastern Ontario municipalities are using cutting-edge technology to inform and engage residents. Through social media tools like Facebook and Twitter, applications for smartphones, and mapping technology, citizens can connect to the communities and organizations that make Eastern Ontario a great place to live. Hear from municipal staff about their experience with developing Ontario's Artisan Cheese Region iPad app, establishing a Facebook page to support local youth programming, and launching a County-wide public Interactive Web Mapping site.
