OEMC continues to provide a program featuring current topics relating to provincial legislation and its impact on the municipal sector, economic development issues, agriculture and tourism activities which will be presented throughout this three-day event. Along with plenary sessions and mobile tours, numerous workshops feature speakers with hands-on, practical experience of interest to small, medium and urban communities.

Private sector and government ministries participate through exhibits showcasing businesses and programs of interest to the municipal sector. Conference attendees enjoy ample opportunity to visit exhibits and network with colleagues. A Companions' Program will also be available to those wish to participate.

Once again OEMC is pleased to confirm VIA Rail Canada's participation as the major ground transportation company for the Ontario East Municipal Conference. Conference participants are eligible for a 10% discount off the best available fare in either Comfort Class; VIA-1 or Sleeper, One Way or Round Trip. Minimum $20.00 fare.
